US banking lobby questions crypto firms' banking license applications

 US banking industry groups are urging the country's banking regulatory agencies to postpone approval decisions for banking licenses for cryptocurrency companies until more details of their plans are made public. They claim that allowing these applications would be a "fundamental departure" from existing policy.
